On Tuesday Aug 23 I did a visit to St Ignatius College Junior School.
Actually I was lucky to get there on time as I think I just missed the huge crash on the South Eastern Freeway, which brought the road to gridlock. A carpark!
A very warm welcome was given to me by Librarian, Adriana Macdonald and the staff and students.
I spoke to the Yr 3-6 groups and the kids were fantastic. Lots of interesting questions from curious minds.
Had time to duck out at lunch time for a bite to eat on The Parade where I chose an Indian curry from a North Indian eatery. I had been reading ‘Star of Anise’ to all of the groups and so just felt I needed a curry!
Look forward now to hosting Kristin Weidenbach at EFS for three days.
